Below are the various actions that can be performed on your
files and directories in the File Manager. Some of
them may not be available if your administrator has not enabled
them.

| Original WYSIWYG Web
Editor |
Click on this button to edit
the file in the WYSIWYG original editor. |
| Plain Editor |
Click this button to modify
a text file or an HTML page that you have uploaded. You
will be able to directly edit the HTML code or text contents
of the file. |
| IE WYSIWYG Editor |
If this option is available, click on this
button to edit the file in the WYSIWYG IE Editor. |
| Convert
to IE Editor |
If this option
is available, click this button to convert a html to edit
it in the WYSIWYG IE Editor. Note:
This is a one-way operation and you cannot convert the
file back to using the Original Editor. |
| Copy |
Click here to copy a file or
directory. Once you've copied it, click on the Paste button
(see below) where you want the file or directory to be
copied. |
| Cut |
Click here to
cut a file or directory. Once you've cut it, click on
the Paste button (see below) in the directory where you
want the file or directory to be moved. |
| Rename |
Click this button to change the
name of a file or directory. Once you've typed the new
name, click OK. |
| Delete |
Click here to
permanently delete a file or directory. Important! Deleting
a file cannot be undone. |
| Change Permissions |
(If enabled - For advanced users
only) Click this button to change the permissions (attributes)
for the file or directory. |
| Password
Protect |
(If enabled)
Click this button to create a password-protected directory.
You will be asked to enter a username and password. Click
OK and the directory will be protected. Any files within
it will only be viewable after entering the correct username
and password. You can add more usernames by clicking the
button again and entering a new username and password.

| Paste |
This button will appear after
you have copied or cut a file or directory. Click the
Paste button at the location where you want the file or
directory to be placed. |
| Cancel
Paste |
If you decide
you do not want to move or copy the file after all, click
this button to cancel the operation. |
