The Original Editor: Font Element

To change the way your text appears on your web page, you can insert a Font element before the text. Click the Add icon where you want to insert the Font element, and then click the Font button in the Properties Frame. Each Font element will affect the appearance of all text, hyperlinks, email links, counter, or form following it until another font element is inserted.

The Properties Frame will show the Font properties which you can modify. These include font, color, size, and style.

To view the available font faces, click on the Font link next to the dropdown list. The fonts and an example of each will appear in the Preview Area.

To view a selection of colors, click on the Color link. A color chart showing the 16 basic colors and the 216 web-safe colors will be displayed in the Preview Area.

If you want to use one of the 16 basic colors you can choose from the dropdown list. If you'd like to use one of the web-safe colors, click on the color you want to use. Its hex code will be pasted into the box next to the dropdown list.

If you'd like to use a different color than the web-safe colors, select Other... in the dropdown list and enter its hex code in the box. Do not include the hash (#) symbol.

To make your text bold, italic, and/or underlined, check the appropriate box(es).

Click the Save button to save the change. You can make as many changes as you like to the element properties before clicking Save, but remember that your changes will only be saved if you click the Save button afterward.

Remember to Save your changes when you are finished.
