Web User Guide
The Original Editor: PayPal Elements

You can insert a PayPal Item on your web page and specify the product name, item number, price, the button graphic, and up to two options for each item.

You can change the font by inserting a Font element in front of the PayPal item. You can insert the PayPal elements in a table to display more than one in a row.

You can also insert a View Cart button. This will display the visitor's shopping cart and allow them to pay for their purchases via PayPal.

Account Name - Enter your PayPal account name. This is usually the email address you used to sign up for your PayPal account.

Item Name - Enter the name of the product or service you are selling. This will appear in the user's shopping cart and the email sent to you.

Item Number - Enter the item number, if any, for the product or service. You can leave this blank if you do not use item numbers.

Price - Enter the price (this is in US dollars only at present) for the item or service.

Optional Name1 and Name2 - If you wish, you can add up to two additional optional qualifiers.

For example, to set it up for size and color, follow the steps below:

1.

For Optional Name1, enter Size.

2.

In the Values1 field, list the sizes offered, each on a separate line, such as:

  Sm-Med
  Med-Lg
  X-Lg

3.

For Optional Name2, enter Color.

4.

In the Values2 field, list the colors offered in a list, each on a separate line, such as:

  Blue
  Red
  Yellow
  Green

If you want to allow your customer to enter their own value in the Optional qualifier fields, simply leave the Values box blank. A text box will be then displayed for the optional qualifier.
