The Original Editor: Mail Form Element

If your administrator has enabled this element, you can insert a feedback form on your website so that visitors can fill in the form and it sends you an email with their answers.

To insert the form on your page, click the Add icon in the Preview Area at the location you want to insert the form. Then click the form button in the Properties Frame.

Mail Subject - Enter the text you would like to appear as the subject line in the email sent to you.

Email address - Enter the email address where you would like the responses sent. If you have a web-based mail account with your web account, it will be pre-filled with that address, but you can change it if you want the responses sent to a different address.

The email that is sent to you will include the URL of the page your form is on, as well as each question and the visitor's answer to that question.

Comments box? - Select Yes if you want to include a larger text box for Comments. Select No if you do not want a Comments box in your mail form.

Questions - You can include any questions you like in your mail form. Simply enter each question on a separate line in this text box. The questions (and your visitor's responses to each) will be sorted alphabetically in the email sent to you, so if you want them to appear in a particular order, simply put a number before each question.

Remember to click Save when you are finished.
