You can add a background image or change the background color of your web page. Click the background button in the second row of buttons in the Preview Area.

You'll see the following in the Properties Frame:

Background - To select from the graphics that are available within the editor, choose from the dropdown list. If you'd like to see a preview of the available images, click on the Background link next to the dropdown list, and thumbnails of the available images will be displayed in the Preview Area. Click a thumbnail to select that image, click OK in the alert box, then click Save.

If you'd like to upload your own image to insert here, click the Upload files button in the Properties Frame. You'll then see a series of empty fields where you can browse to files on your computer . When you're finished selecting files to upload from your computer, click the Upload Files button. You can then select your uploaded file in the dropdown list.

Color - To view a selection of colors, click on the Color link. A color chart showing the 16 basic colors and the 216 web-safe colors will be displayed in the Preview Area.

If you want to use one of the 16 basic colors you can choose from the dropdown list. If you'd like to use one of the web-safe colors, click on the color you want to use. Its hex code will be pasted into the box next to the dropdown list.

If you'd like to use a different color than the web-safe colors, select Other... in the dropdown list and enter its hex code in the box. Do not include the hash (#) symbol.

Sound - If you have uploaded any sound files (*.wav, *.mid, *.au) to your website, you can select them from this dropdown list to use as the background sound for your webpage.

Other background - If you want to use an image already on the Internet somewhere else, select None in the dropdown list and type in the full URL in the Other background box.

Margins - To change the amount of empty space between the edge of the window and the contents of your webpage, you can change the page margins here. Note that these margins do not display consistently in all web browsers.

Remember to click Save when you are finished.
