Trumpeting In the Plagues (Part I) ***(Please Note That Due To The Length of This Study and the Large Response We've Received, The Second Part Will Be Posted On the Week of 7/12/08. We Apologize For Any Inconvenience.)*** Many people have been noticing world changes that are not only affecting the economy worldwide, but changes in the weather, atmosphere, and social livelihood of the people. War and rumors of war are lingering over the heads of nations. But war is nothing new, for we know that war has been an ongoing epidemic since the beginning of time. However, never has there been such an outpouring of violence and threats to nations who not only live in Third World Countries or in the Middle East. Threats of nuclear warfare are being felt by citizens of some of the most powerful countries in the world, such as the United States. So suffice it to say, we are currently facing a danger that not only threatens the existence of Israel as a nation, but we are being placed in that same threat by a tyrant who is determined to cause harm to anyone who stands beside Israel or is considered an ally of the nation of Israel. Living in our times which allow us to watch the prophecies of the Scriptures unfold before our very eyes has caused a spiritual demand for truth to be shed in regards to our time and the End of Ages. We are truly witnessing a great and dreadful thing which will lead us into a great and terrible day, a day of tribulation, evil, deception, and falling away such as this world has never seen from the beginning of time nor will there ever be again. These circumstances are leading up to the blowing of trumpets which will signal the beginning of the end, leading the armies of heaven to consume and destroy the evil and wickedness of this world so that the Everlasting King will come and destroy the true enemy and rule the world. And the sounding of the trumpets spoken of in Revelation should be considered as a battle cry, as many trumpet blasts of past human armies have displayed. It is the sound of rallying the army for battle and onto the grounds of victory. And so must these trumpet blasts be. Now, before anyone begins to think that modern day trumpets will be used, we would like to clarify that the trumpets discussed in scripture were in fact trumpets made with the Ram’s Horn, also called a Shofar. Its sound is distinctive, and when blown properly, exposes the power and beauty of its sacred tone. This truly is a sound that is unmistakable and powerful demanding attention and reverence. So again, when the trumpets are being blown, it truly is the beginning of the end of ages. Now, we understand from scripture that Satan will be bound for 1,000 years and be released one last time. However, the blowing of the trumpets will pave the way and is the first major step, in the end times, to the coming reign of Yeshua our Messiah. But before we read about the blowing of the trumpets discussed in the book of Revelation, we must understand that there is a Holy Day which was ordained by YHWH to be kept. This Holy Day called the Feast of Trumpets is a prophetic feast which will be fulfilled in the end times. Leviticus 23:23-25 (New International Version) 23 The FATHER said to Moses, 24 "Say to the Israelites: 'On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly commemorated with trumpet blasts. 25 Do no regular work, but present an offering made to the FATHER by fire.' Please understand, this Holy Day has not yet passed for this year of 2008. However, it will come approximately the first week of October. Please check back with us for an accurate date as this day approaches. However, we are not going to go into depth concerning the Feast of Trumpets in this study. We are merely pointing out its importance and it’s role in the prophesies leading up the actual blowing of trumpets which will summon the armies of heaven and the servants of YHWH to wrap up the work of witnessing to a perishing people. These days will in fact be perilous and dreadful, not only to the “Sinner” but also for “Believer”. Despite what many so called “Prophets” or “Ministers” or “Preachers” might say, there WILL NOT be a “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” of the believers. All believers living in these times will be persecuted, and THEN Yeshua will return. Consider the following: Matthew 24 (New International Version) 1Yeshua left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to him to call his attention to its buildings. 2"Do you see all these things?" he asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down." 3As Yeshua was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" 4Yeshua answered: "WATCH OUT THAT NO ONE DECEIVES YOU. 5For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6YOU WILL HEAR OF WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. THERE WILL BE FAMINES AND EARTHQUAKES IN VARIOUS PLACES. 8ALL THESE ARE THE BEGINNING OF BIRTH PAINS. 9"THEN YOU WILL BE HANDED OVER TO BE PERSECUTED AND PUT TO DEATH, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11AND MANY FALSE PROPHETS WILL APPEAR AND DECEIVE MANY PEOPLE. 12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. 15"SO WHEN YOU SEE STANDING IN THE HOLY PLACE 'THE ABOMINATION THAT CAUSES DESOLATION,' SPLKEN OF THROUGH THE PROPHET DANIEL—LET THE READER UNDERSTAND— Dan 9:27; 11:31; 12:11 16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. 18Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. 19How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20PRAY THAT YOUR FLIGHT WILL NOT TAKE PLACE IN WINTER OR ON THE SABBATH. 21For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. Dan 12:1; Joel 2:2 22If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, BUT FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT THOSE DAYS WILL BE SHORTENED. 23At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. 24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible. 25See, I have told you ahead of time. 26"So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. 27FOR AS LIGHTNING THAT COMES FROM THE EAST IS VISIBLE EVEN IN THE WEST, SO WILL BE THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN. 28Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. 29"IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE DISTRESS OF THOSE DAYS " 'THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT; THE STARS WILL FALL FROM THE SKY, AND THE HEAVENLY BODIES WILL BE SHAKEN.' Isa 13:10; 34:4; Joel 2:10, 11; Zeph 1:15; Rev 6:13-14; Rev 9:24; Rev 16:14 30"AT THAT TIME THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR IN THE SKY, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. THEY WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY, WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY. Dan 7:13; Rev 1:7 31AND HE WILL SEND HIS ANGESL WITH A LOUD TRUMPET CALL, AND THEY WILL GATHER HIS ELECT FROM THE FOUR WINDS, FROM ONE END OF THE HEAVENS TO THE OTHER. 32"Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. 34I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your KING will come. 43But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. 45"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'My master is staying away a long time,' 49and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. While we know this is a whole chapter and is quite a bit to read, please understand that in order to get the full understanding of what a few verses are trying to point out, it is important to keep the scriptures in context so that no one is deceived. Notice in Matthew 24 that Yeshua is giving us descriptive detail about the end of ages and HIS glorious return on a cloud. He begins discussing the conditions of the world along with a warning about false prophets in verse 4. And in reading down to verse 9, we read that Yeshua says to HIS Followers, “THEN YOU” will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death. So from this we gather that HIS Followers are NOT “RAPTURED” up prior to the Tribulation, but in fact, SUFFER PERSECUTION TO THE POINT OF DEATH! In reading on of Matthew 24, Yeshua continues to prophecy about a False Prophet whom HE calls “the abomination that causes desolation”, which we learn from Daniel is the “Anti-Christ / Messiah”. Yeshua then warns HIS followers who are left alive in Judea to flee. And what more, in verse 20, Yeshua advises that those particular Followers in Judea PRAY that their flight does not take place in the WINTER or ON THE SABBATH. This proves that even in those perilous times, HE does not want HIS Followers to travel on the Sabbath Day, which is to be kept holy and sacred. A day that no work is to be performed and a day that traveling MUST NOT take place, despite the circumstance! Continuing on in verse 22, Yeshua talks about HIS ELECT suffering during this time of Great Tribulation. HE says that “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, BUT FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT THOSE DAYS WILL BE SHORTENED.” Think about that for a second. Forget about what Fiction authors (i.e. Left Behind) and “Minister, Preachers, Teachers, and Prophets” have said recently. Listen to Yeshua’s Words and take HIS Words as MORE AUTHORITATIVE and take those Words as FACT which are in direct opposition to the “Traditional Teachings of Men”. If Yeshua is saying that “FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT THOSE DAYS WILL BE SHORTENED”, how does that fit in with the so called “Rapture” of Christians? Aren’t the Christians His “Elect”? Do not even these so-called “Prophets” teach that Yeshua’s followers (Christians/Messianics) are HIS elect?! Therefore, EVEN YESHUA’S FOLLOWERS WILL STAY ON EARTH AND SUFFER THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE TRIBULATION! BUT… FOR THE SAKE OF THE ELECT, THOSE DAYS WILL BE SHORTENED! And Yeshua continues to speak, saying in verse 29 that IMMEDIATELY AFTER those days there will be darkness and that the heavenly bodies will be shaken. Most people will agree that these perilous circumstances are no doubt the scenes of the Tribulation scene. And in verse 30, the clincher! Yeshua says, “AT THAT TIME” the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky”! Please, read it again. AFTER ALL THIS TRIBULATION HIS ELECT goes through, and AFTER THE WORLD HAS BEEN DARKENED… 30"AT THAT TIME THE SIGN OF THE SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR IN THE SKY, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. THEY WILL SEE THE SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY, WITH POWER AND GREAT GLORY. One more time, Yeshua says “AT THAT TIME” He will appear in the sky on the clouds with great power and glory! So… where is the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”? Where in there does it say that He gathers up HIS people to prevent them from suffering and persecution? Doesn’t HIS Words describe the exact OPPOSITE? People often mistake the portions of scripture following verse 30 to describe a “Rapture”. For example, in verses 40-42: 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your KING will come. However, if we read it carefully, we understand from the parable Yeshua gives IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING verse 42, that He did not mean there would be a “Rapture”. Yeshua meant that when HE suddenly returns without warning, if we are not following after HIM in faith as a faithful servant but are caught being disobedient, it is too late. There is no second chance to be called unto HIM as a follower and achieve salvation from His judgment. Just as in the days of Noah, those who did not enter the ark because of lack of faith, despite the warnings, had no other way to achieve salvation. 48BUT SUPPOSE THAT SERVANT IS WICKED AND SAYS TO HIMSELF, ‘MY MASTER IS STAYING AWAY A LONG TIME,’ 49AND HE THEN BEGINS TO BEAT HIS FELLOW SERVANTS AND TO EAT AND DRINK WITH DRUNKARDS. And so Yeshua tells us in the parable, that we must be found “feeding” HIS people HIS “Food” when HE returns. And what He means is that we must be found feeding HIS Children and sharing the “Bread of Life”, the “Living Word” of YHWH, to them. We must be found living in His Word being faithful and knowing that He is returning. He warns us to not slip away from the truth and carry ourselves with the attitude that “HE is taking a long time to return”, so we can “play” or “sin” or “backslide”. We must be ready and prove ourselves as worthy servants, because if we are not, we will not be called up into His arms as faithful servants. Through these dangerous actions we will have chosen to separate ourselves from Him by being disobedient. And that is the issue of being “Left Behind”, knowing that we will not be called “HIS”, but rather be called “DISOBEDIENT”! If that’s not a sense of being “Left Behind” in our hearts, we are truly in danger. Even worse, those who are “Left Behind” will not enter the Kingdom, but Yeshua will “CUT HIM TO PIECES AND ASSIGN HIM A PLACE WITH THE HYPOCRITES, WHERE THERE WILL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” So, if they are left behind, where will they be left behind in? “WHERE THERE WILL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH”, also known as HELL, the great and terrible Abyss where all disobedient people, demons, and Satan himself will be condemned to. Before we move on to the Trumpets, there is one more chapter we must share with you to again point out that the sounding of trumpets will be done while Yeshua’s followers are still alive and living on earth. Please take a minute to read Luke 21. Luke 21 (New International Version) 1As he looked up, Yeshua saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3"I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on." 5Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to YHWH. But Yeshua said, 6"As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down." 7"Teacher," they asked, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?" 8He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them. 9When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away." 10Then he said to them: "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. 12"But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13This will result in your being witnesses to them. 14But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. 15For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. 16You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. 17All men will hate you because of me. 18But not a hair of your head will perish. 19By standing firm you will gain life. 20"When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 25"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." 29He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. 30When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near. 31Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of YHWH is near. 32"I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, THIS GENERATION WILL CERTAINLY NOT PASS AWAY UNTIL ALL THESE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. 33Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. 34"Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. 35FOR IT WILL COME UPON ALL THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH. 36Be always on the watch, and PRAY THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ESCAPE ALL THAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN, AND THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO STAND BEFORE THE SON OF MAN.” 37Each day Yeshua was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives, 38and all the people came early in the morning to hear him at the temple. Again, just as in Matthew 24, we read in Luke 21 Yeshua speaking about the signs of the end. And in verse 32, Yeshua tells us that the Generation which is living at the time of Tribulation will not pass away UNTIL ALL THESE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. So that means that those who are alive during those times will not die, but suffer. In verse 35, Yeshua says that “IT WILL COME UPON ALL THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH”. Notice, it says UPON ALL, not just the “New Converts” or “Unbelievers”. Yeshua Himself says it will come UPON ALL who live on the Earth. So if you are living in that particular generation and time, according to scripture, “IT WILL COME UPON ALL THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE FACE OF THE WHOLE EARTH”, YES… even YOU! And if that’s not enough proof for you that the “Faithful Christians” will NOT be “Raptured”, read what Yeshua tells His Followers in verse 36: 36Be always on the watch, and PRAY THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO ESCAPE ALL THAT IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN, AND THAT YOU MAY BE ABLE TO STAND BEFORE THE SON OF MAN.” He tells HIS DISCIPLES, HIS FOLLOWERS, HE TELL US to PRAY that we escape and be able to stand before HIM! Doesn’t that sound like Yeshua is talking to His Followers? And again, where is the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”? It doesn’t happen! It DOES NOT EXIST AND IS NO WHERE FOUND IN SCRIPTURE! So if this happens in our lifetime, pray that we can escape and be able to stand before Him, found worthy as a faithful servant and not as an idle backslider who has not watched for His return in steadfast faithfulness! Now, moving on to the sounding of trumpets found in Revelation. But before you read, please understand that we pray that you understand how important it is to read Revelation 8 and Revelation 9 in one smooth transition with little interruption or in depth explanation. You will find, however, explanation of how the circumstances resulting from the blowing of the Trumpets measure up to scenarios we find in our world today and can see exposed in the news immediately following Revelation 9. Not that most of you need this interpretation, however we understand that some people do not like to even turn on the news channel due to disgust of the current world situations. However, as Yeshua said, we feel it is important that we WATCH! Also, be on the lookout for scenarios which mirror many things which happened in Egypt, TO EGYPT, prior to the Israelites being SET FREE FROM BONDAGE. We will discuss these things later, and compare how the scenarios in Revelation match up with the scenarios during Moses’ time. And the end result will be the same. Those whom the Father chooses will be SET FREE from the grasp of sin and Satan! We will be free to FINALLY become the Bride YHWH intended us to be since the time of the Exodus! Revelation 8 (New International Version) 1When he opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2And I saw the seven angels who stand before YHWH, and to them were given seven trumpets. 3Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all the saints, on the golden altar before the throne. 4The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of the saints, went up before YHWH from the angel's hand. 5Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it on the earth; and there came peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning and an earthquake. 6Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. 7The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. 8The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. 10The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter. 12The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night. 13As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: "Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!" Revelation 9 (New International Version) 1The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss. 2When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth. 4They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of YHWH on their foreheads. 5They were not given power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them. 7The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8Their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10They had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails they had power to torment people for five months. 11They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon. 12The first woe is past; two other woes are yet to come. 13The sixth angel sounded his trumpet, and I heard a voice coming from the horns of the golden altar that is before YHWH. 14It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates." 15And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind. 16The number of the mounted troops was two hundred million. I heard their number. 17The horses and riders I saw in my vision looked like this: Their breastplates were fiery red, dark blue, and yellow as sulfur. The heads of the horses resembled the heads of lions, and out of their mouths came fire, smoke and sulfur. 18A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths. 19The power of the horses was in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails were like snakes, having heads with which they inflict injury. 20The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts. We begin with Revelation 8: Notice in Revelation 8:7 after the First Trumpet blast, that there will be the first miraculous sign of wrath. Two elements which DO NOT naturally exist together will work together for the Creator! ICE, in the form of Hail, will be used WITH FIRE, mingled with blood, hurled down upon the Earth. And we currently see the world burning in various places for various reasons, even when the “Dry Season” isn’t even upon us. So we can see happening and is very much easy to accept in our human understanding, aside form the Hail and Fire mingled with blood. Revelation 8:7 7The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. We then read in Revelation 8:8-9 that the Second Trumpet is blown. And in that verse we learn that something resembling a HUGE MOUNTAIN that is set ABLAZE with fire, falls into the sea. Whether this was set ablaze by the hail and fire mixed with blood, seismic activity such as an earthquake or volcano, or if this was caused by man made destruction (conventional war or possibly even nuclear attack), we are not told. However, if you study historic Earth scenarios which resemble this description, you will find that a great land mass falling into the sea will create a HUGE tidal wave which will hit neighboring coastlines, and sometimes coasts on the opposite side of the ocean. A wave this tremendous will be catastrophic and kill many people. We should understand this after the Tsunami which hit Asia not long ago. The water was tainted with sewage, blood, decomposing bodies, etc. All of this would kill animal life, which rely on the water, including fish. And of course, as we learned from the Tsunami, NOTHING that is man-made can withstand this kind of power. No ship, building, or coastline in the path of wave would be safe when this happens. This scripture also aligns with what Yeshua taught us in Matthew 24:7-8 and Luke 21:11 &25. Revelation 8:8-9 8The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. Matthew 24:7-8 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. THERE WILL BE FAMINES AND EARTHQUAKES IN VARIOUS PLACES. 8ALL THESE ARE THE BEGINNING OF BIRTH PAINS. Luke 21:11 11There will be GREAT EARTHQUAKES, FAMINES AND PESTILENCES in various places, and FEARFUL EVENTS AND GREAT SIGNS from heaven. Luke 21:25 25"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, NATIONS WILL BE IN ANGUISH AND PERPLEXITY AT THE ROARING AND TOSSING OF THE SEA. In Revelation 8:10-11, the third angel sounds his trumpet, which brings upon the earth a great star falling from the sky and hitting an area of the earth which affects ONE THIRD of the Earth’s waters in the form of rivers and springs. In other words, this large body of water hit feeds into one third of the world’s rivers and springs in some form or fashion. And this “Bitterness” is caused by this “Star” which is named “Wormwood”. Is this an actual star, comet, or asteroid? If so, is the name “Wormwood” given to it due to it’s “bitterness” left in the wake of the destruction? Or is this TRULY a body of mass named “Wormwood”? Believe it or not, if you look into this, there is IN FACT, an asteroid which has been named Wormwood. Will this asteroid collide with Earth during these times? Or will YHWH use something totally different to once again prove “knowledge” of secular scientists to be WAY off? Only time will tell. Nevertheless, we should again remember those IMPORTANT WORDS… WATCH! Revelation 8:10-11 10The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter. Now, in Revelation 8:12, we see John’s Revelation come into alignment with what Yeshua taught us in Matthew 24:29 and in Luke 21:25 about the signs of the sun, moon, and the stars. They WILL BE DARKENED! This even indeed will be horrible and cause a tremendous chain reaction which will absolutely affect all life. Remember, without the sun, there will be no life in plants. Which affects the oxygen created by them and affects the food source of ALL animals AND humans. And without the reflective light offered by the moon and the stars, we will live in a terrifying world of utter and complete darkness. However, notice carefully that the scriptures describe A THIRD of the light sources struck. Does this mean that there is hope for some kind of relieving light or is this light going to offer only a glimpse into the terror of a collapsing and ending world? Revelation 8:12 12The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night. Matthew 24:29 (New International Version) 29"Immediately after the distress of those days " 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.' Luke 21:25 (New International Version) 25"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. And finally, in Revelation 8:13, we read that these horrific scenes are only the beginning. And from what John heard, it seems that the next three Trumpet Blasts are going to be much worse. If it isn’t so, why else would the eagle flying call out in a loud voice: “Woe! Woe! Woe!... because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!” Woe? After ALL of the tribulation which had come to pass as described in the FIRST PART of Revelation 8? Woe due to what is coming NEXT?! Indeed, WOE! May the Father have mercy upon US ALL! Revelation 8:13 13As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: "Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!" Next week, we will look into Revelation 9 and compare all of the occurrences described in both Revelation 8 and 9 and how they mirror the scenario in Egypt that YHWH brought upon the people of Egypt through Moses and Aaron. Please check back with us. If you have any questions or would like a copy of this Study e-mailed to you, please feel free to request it at our email address. We pray that the first part of this study has blessed you. Prayer for the Church It is our prayer that you take into consideration these things which have been mentioned. It is our prayer that you persevere in the church through thick and thin; through the seasons of blessings and through the seasons of trials and tribulations. Pray unto the Lord for discernment, for a greater depth of spiritual understanding, and for guidance. It is also our prayer that you study the Word of God diligently, and that you keep watch on the world with spiritual eyes. “Study to show thyself approved…” and “watch and pray… for you do not know the time or the hour that the Lord returns”. In closing, please, be spiritually prepared for the return of our Lord and King, ensuring that you have not been deceived nor fallen away from the scattering of the sheep as Satan has longed to do. We claim victory in the name of YESHUA, and pray for you earnestly for each and every one of you. Amen. |
